Coconut Grove is a neighborhood just south of downtown Miami. Its tropical atmosphere, numerous parks and gardens, and historic homes are some of its most appealing features. Coconut Grove is also home to several restaurants, shops, parks, sailing clubs, and galleries.
 
The neighborhood's architecture is varied, but its historic homes most commonly characterize it. Many were built in the early 20th century and reflect various styles, including Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern, and Mediterranean. Coconut Grove also has many buildings inspired by famous architects, including Addison Mizner and Frank Lloyd Wright. The climate in Coconut Grove is tropical, and the neighborhood is known for its lush, jungle-style vegetation and beautiful gardens.

Coconut Grove is also home to many renowned restaurants with chef-driven menus. For modern Lebanese food, visit Amal. The hidden gem Level6 is the perfect place to get rooftop cocktails and watch the sunset. 
When it’s somewhere as high-end as Mr. C’s, a hotel restaurant and bar is truly unbeatable, and Bellini’s Italian fare and the full cocktail menu are no exception. Sadelle’s is a New York favorite that has found its way to Coconut Grove, offering iconic bagels, high-end brunch, and a great meal any time of the day. Narbona is a market and restaurant with incredibly fresh seasonal ingredients, bespoke catering, and casually elegant dining. The Key Club is a typical American bar and grill but elevated with gorgeous decor and unique takes on classic menu items. The casual atmosphere of Sapore di Mare perfectly complements the coastal Italian menu, and the true star of this spot is its list of over 100 wines. And tucked on a side street, Le Bouchon Du Grove is a romantic nook where you can sample French cooking and dessert.
 
For shopping, Coconut Grove is home to many boutique shops and new concept stores like Bazaar. Main Street is the perfect place to browse for unique gifts. If you’re looking for a day by the pool or at the spa, visit Mayfair Hotel, or escape the sun in the luxury seats of Cinépolis Cinemas.

The Coconut Grove neighborhood, an international community with a rich arts and culture scene, has plenty to do, despite your interests. The neighborhood is home to many art galleries, museums, and theaters, as well as parks, gardens, and public spaces. 
 
Yearly events and festivals keep residents engaged with various opportunities for entertainment and education. For instance, the annual Coconut Grove Art Festival presents over 280 artists, many internationally famous, across several distinct mediums. And you’re unlikely to find a zanier event than the King Mango Strut — a “satirical parade” that makes The Onion seem like a box of tissue paper by comparison.
 
There are many ways to spend a day in Coconut Grove. If you want to spend a day outdoors, residents can visit the sailing club or The Kampong National Tropical Botanical Garden. There are plenty of parks and gardens to explore, such as Peacock ParkArmbrister Park, and Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. For a more active day, visit Matheson Park, rent a bike, or go for a swim at one of the many beaches in the area.
 
If you are looking for a night out, Coconut Grove has many bars to choose from. There is also a lively theater and music scene, with many venues hosting live performances throughout the year.
